This hike takes place on the slops of the ricon de la vieja volcano the largest in Costa Rica . Where you can admire beautiful primary dry tropical and transicional forest, volcanic activity as fumaroles, boiling water and volcanic mud.

You also have the posibility to see animals like and howler, spider and white face monkeys, coaties, pacas , iguanas and many more. this forest is also home to over 300 species of birds including tucans, trogones and mot mots. This hike takes about 2 1/2  hours.
